21st Century Skill

Over 70 million youth facing unemployment in today’s world and it is expected that more than 7 million white collar jobs will disappear in next 5 years itself. It is also estimated that over 60% of the kids entering Primary School today will end up in jobs that do not even exist today.

Are our schools doing enough to prepare these kids to compete in a world that is still unknown to them?

The nature of our economy has changed over the years and so has the skillset that is required in a professional. We must equip our kids to take on the work/life challenges of the 21st century and hence must provide them with skills that will take them ahead.

These skills of the 21st century are defined as 21st century skills.

Brainwiz is using the existing categorization of these skills, as defined by Partnership for 21st Century Learning to prepare the youth of today to take on the challenges of tomorrow.
