Workshops

Each of our workshops touches upon all the topics taught in Civics in CBSE/ICSE/State Boards. The difficulty levels and topics of these workshops are decided based on

  • Classes of the learners
  • Selection of various SDGs by schools and partner organisations
  • Assessment results

The workshop aims to help students to get a brief understanding of how research is done and to understand its usefulness. The workshop will glance over practical research methods as they may not be entirely relevant to school students, however, will focus more attention on research beyond Google & Wikipedia, judging authenticity of sources, ethical & legal concerns and methods to make research effective.

This workshop will introduce students to the understanding of what constitutes decision making and the importance of good decision making in personal & public life. It will emphasize the importance of sound decision making based on fact & research, as well as participatory decision making.

This workshop will first explain the structure of Indian Democracy, the three wings of state, before moving into the parliamentary system. It will elucidate functions of the central & state legislatures in democracy, passage of bills, laws and roles & responsibilities of elected representatives. .

This workshop will explain the idea of Public Policy and its impact on government action, legislation, etc. This course will allow students to distinguish between Public Policy & legislation and shed light on the policy formulation, implementation & evaluation processes.
